both = كلاً من

Neither = لا هذا ولا ذاك

Either = إما أحد الأمرين

both, either, neither + اسم

نستخدم Both... and عندما نعبر عن صيغة كلاً من

مثال بالعربي : منو من عيالك ناجح؟ احمد ومحمد اثنينهم ناحجين

نستخدم Neither... nor عندما نعبر عن صيغة لا هذا ولا ذاك

مثال بالعربي: منو من عيالك ناجحين ؟ لا هذا(أحمد) ولا ذاك (محمد)

Both... and...: Both Ann and Tom were late.

Neither... nor...: Neither Liz nor Robin came to the party.
